“Gone Home to be with her Lord and Saviour”, it is with heavy hearts that our family announces the peaceful passing of Elizabeth Wall, formerly of Fairground, at Maple Manor Nursing Home, with her loving family at her bedside, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of 53 years to the Late Abraham Wall (2010). Dear mother of Isaac (Mary) Wall of Fairground; Mary (Dave) Martens of Leamington; Nick (Herminia) Wall of Simcoe; Abe (Alison) Wall of Grimsby; Betty Wall of Tillsonburg; Annie Thurston of Fairground; Jake Wall of Fairground and Mike (Michelle) Wall of Fairground. Mother-in-Law to Tim (Kelly) Duesling. Proud grandmother to Jason (Kathy); Jessica; Jamie (Crystal); Julie; Alex (Marina); Kelly (Erik); Sabrina; Nicolas; Ryan (Sarah); Jennifer (Andy); Madison; A.J.; Tiana; Chloe; Veronica (Zach); Rachel, and cherished great-grandmother to all her loving great-grandchildren.
Mom was an avid gardener and loved spending time with her plants and flowers. If she wasn’t tending her garden, she was busy preparing food to those she welcomed into her home. Her family was her most prized possession.
Predeceased by her beloved daughter, Tina Duesling (2014); grandson Adam Martens (1991), and all of her brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends and family at Ostrander’s Funeral Home 43 Bidwell St. Tillsonburg (519) 842-5221 on Sunday, December 8th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral service for Elizabeth will be held in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 9th at 1 pm, Pastor Randy Thiessen officiating.
Interment Tillsonburg Cemetery. At the family’s request memorial donations (payable by cheque) may be made to the New Rhineland Mennonite Church, Wheatley, or the charity of your choice.
