Betty Jean Macklin
Passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville at the age of 94 years.
Beloved wife of the late Clifford Macklin. Dear Mother of the late Marlene (the late Larry) Bowen, and Barry Macklin. Loving Grandma to Jason (Barb) and Shannon (Jamie). Loving Great-Grandma to Lauren, Ryan, Brandyn, and Samantha. Dear sister of the late Wilhelmina (the late Everett) Wood.
Betty was a dedicated volunteer at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, serving Meals on Wheels and a member of the UCW for over 30 years. She will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home on Friday November 29, 2024 from 6-8pm and Saturday November 30, 2024 from 11am-12pm with service to follow at 12pm in the chapel. Interment will take place after the service at Bowmanville Cemetery followed by a reception from 1:30-4pm at Maranatha Church, 2805 Hwy 2 East, Bowmanville, ON.

If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation.
