Doris Noseworthy Snow Obituary
Doris Noseworthy Snow
August 27th 1929 – November 20th 2024
Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 95.
Predeceased by her husband, Frank; her parents, Frank and Clara Hawe; her brothers, Elmer and George; and her son-in-law, David Little.
Leaving to mourn, her two children, Linda Little and Bruce (Michella); her grandchildren, Christopher (Ashley), Stephen (Danielle), Bryan, and Claire; great-grandchildren, Bridget and Fergus Little; nephews, nieces, extended family and friends, including long-time friends Grace Butler and Paulette Neary.
Doris was a true angel, beautiful both inside and out. To know her was to experience her boundless love, sharp sense of humor, and infectious laugh. She was the greatest mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother anyone could wish for, as well as the best confidante, supporter, and storyteller. Doris always made time to share the stories of her remarkable life, from childhood to young adulthood, having witnessed countless world events and technological advancements.
Special thanks to the staff of the Health Sciences Emergency Department and 4 South B for their exceptional care during Doris’s final days.
Flowers or donations to VOWR are gratefully accepted.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will take place from Barrett’s Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 2pm with an internment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
