Obituary
It is with utmost sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our cherished wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Alma Joy Perry, on Sunday, November 17th,2024 at her home in Daniel’s Harbour, NL, at the age of 68 years.
Alma leaves to mourn her fond and loving husband Felix; daughter Della (Keith); her 3 grandchildren: Randy, Nathan, Kathryn and her brother Jerry (Judy). She also leaves to mourn a large circle of family and friends.
Alma was predeceased by her son Draper; parents Willie and Myra; parents-in-law Clayton and Mary.
Alma was a warm and loving woman who always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed life to the fullest, whether it was knitting in her rocking chair or outdoors in the garage having her weekly fires in the firepit laughing and joking with friends and family. She enjoyed her weekly game of cards, darts, bingo and she also looked forward to her big game of 500’s with Dan and Vera. There was so much about her that we will miss and cherish the memories we had with her.
In keeping with Alma’s wishes, cremation will take place. A gathering for family and friends will be held at her home in Daniel’s Harbour, NL on Thursday evening, November 21st,2024 beginning at 5 pm. The celebration of life will take place on Friday, November 22nd,2024 at 3 pm at The Holy Cross Anglican Church in Daniels Harbour, NL with Rev. Terry Rose officiating. Inurnment will follow at the family of the Holy Cross cemetery in Daniel’s Harbour where Alma and her son Draper will be laid to rest.
Flowers are greatly appreciated or donations to the Holy Cross Anglican Church in Daniel’s Harbour can be made in Alma’s memory.
