It is with broken hearts that the family of Gerald David Fascione announces his unexpected passing on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at the age of 71. Born in South Shield, England on April 14, 1953, he was a son of the late Joseph and Lilly (nee. Johnson) Fascione.
Gerald will be deeply missed by his daughters Paula (Mike) and Christine (Troy); grandchildren: Nicole (Jay), Michael (Jennifer), Rebecca, and Ryan (Kaela); great-grandchildren: Rachael, Jordan, Taylor, and Karissa; nephew David as well as many friends.
Besides his parents was preceded by his wife Roberta (nee, Harvie) Fascione, sister Mariam, and brothers George and Joe.
Moving from England to South Africa, Gerald lived and worked here for a few years before coming to Canada in the early 1980’s. Gerald worked as a boiler maker for 30 years and was member of the Boiler Makers Union 73.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB E2J 2G3; (506) 646-2425, visitation for Gerald will be on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will direct follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
