Passed away peacefully at Hospice Prince Edward
on Wednesday, November 13th, 2024
BETTY MARIE BISHOP
At the age of 94
Beloved wife of the late Reg Bishop.
Loving mother of Elaine Johannsson (Bill), Randy and Rick.
Proud Grandma to Ian, Harrison, Noah, Liza, Travis and 11 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her sisters Geraldine Gassira and Wanda Thompson.
Betty loved cheering for and bemoaning the losses of the Wellington Dukes, Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays.
She was an avid bridge player who participated in many duplicate bridge tournaments.
She was active in the Eastern Star, the Wellington United Church and especially enjoyed her social afternoons
with her longtime friends. Betty will be missed by her family and friends.
Special thanks to the staff at Manor on Loyalist Parkway, Hospice Prince Edward
and Ali Meteer who took such good care of Betty.
Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
