It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Jerome Douglas Campbell from the Swan Haven Residential Facility in Harvey Station NB and formerly of Woodstock on Monday March 6, 2023 at the DECH in Fredericton.
Jerome was born February 4, 1948, to the late Kenneth and Madeline (Chase) Campbell in Woodstock NB.
Jerome is survived by daughters Kim, Laura and grandchildren, Sisters Joan Graham (Robert), Peggy Greer (Paul), Starr Peterson (Robert), Debbie Bate, brother Randy Campbell (Jennifer) also many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Sandra (Godsoe) Campbell, brother in laws Bob Godsoe, Garnet Stairs and Cyril Stairs, Sister in law Susan Godsoe, brothers Kenneth Jr and Robert William, brother in law Paul Bate, sisters Shirley Stairs, Jacqueline Stairs, Audrey (Bud) Chapman.
Special thanks to the staff at Swan Haven for the great care he received, also to the staff of 3 East at Dr Everett Chalmers hospital for the good care and kindness shown to him and the family during his stay.
There will not be any public visitation or funeral service at this time.
There will be a graveside service at Benton cemetery in the spring.
If so desired, donations to the NB Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB.
