Jodi Dawn Godin, born June 7, 1969, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2024. Jodi was a devoted mother, raising her two daughters with love and care, ensuring they had a childhood filled with joy and cherished memories.
An exceptional server throughout her life, Jodi was well-known and beloved in the service industry, where her warm smile and infectious personality touched the lives of many. Her talents extended beyond her profession; she was incredibly crafty and had a knack for creating beauty in everything she did.
Jodi’s love for her family was immeasurable, and she found great joy in her time spent with them. She was especially fond of her fur baby, Rio, who brought her endless companionship and happiness.
Jodi’s ability to make anyone smile and her generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind her two beloved daughters, Ariel and Gabrielle Genereux, two granddaughters, Beverly and Isla Genereux, her mother and father, Shirley and Robert Snair, Sisters, Susan Blackler and Catherine Desgagne, brother Christopher Godin, ex partner and good friend, Grant Cormier, lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, a community of friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts and of course her most favourite, her fur baby Rio.
A memorial service will be held in Jodi’s memory November 22, 2024 at 12:00 in St. Michael’s Church, 14 St. Michaels Avenue, Halifax.
