With great sadness we announce the passing of Marilyn Foster peacefully at home on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at the age of 84. Marilyn was the loving wife of the late Douglas Foster. Loving mother of Kelly, Karen, Dana (Patrick) and Linda (Ross). Marilyn will be greatly missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marilyn is survived and will be missed by her sister-in- law and good friend Shirley MacLaughlin (the late Arthur). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Marilyn was a devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to caring for her family. Her unconditional love nurtured and shaped many. Her family was her greatest joy and her influence extended beyond her immediate family touching the lives of friends and relatives. Her legacy of selfless love, kindness and generosity will continue to inspire and guide us. Rest in peace Mom.
In keeping with Marilyn’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held at Mackey Funeral Home 33 Peel Street Lindsay
on Tuesday, November 12 from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 12:00 p.m.
Reception to follow. Interment at Emily Cemetery, Omemee.
In lieu of flowers if desired, memorial donations to the Community Care Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family. Donations may be made through the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel St, Lindsay or online at www.mackeys.ca
