Obituary of Jerome Musgrave MacDonald
MacDONALD, Jerome Musgrave – With his beloved wife by his side, Jerome MacDonald died at Bluewater Health on Monday, March 6, 2023, at the age of 90. Beloved husband and best friend of Dorothy (nee MacAdam) for 67 years. Dear brother-in-law of Kay MacRae and Betty MacAdam. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joseph & Eva MacDonald, brothers Bert, Mike, Fred and Meahan, sisters Georgina, Jane, Margaret and Frances and brother-in-law Robert MacAdam, sisters-in-law Stella Donovan, Rose Swindles, Joan MacNamara and Rita Bennett.
Jerome and Dorothy came to Ontario from Cape Breton in 1955. Jerome joined the Sarnia Police as an officer for 10 years. He then took a position at Dow Chemical moving through the ranks to a crane operator before he retired. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 1429 for over 50 years. Jerome and Dorothy loved to travel, trailering through Canada and the United States for over 25 years.
Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2023, at Queen of Peace Church. Enichement Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum. Arrangements entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-344-3131.
