Passed away on Wednesday October 23, 2024, in her 89th year.
Carol was born in Toronto; she was the only daughter of Walter and Cora (nee Lawer) Fursman.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, brothers Francis (Frank), Kenneth (Ken), and her 3rd child Margaret Ann and her beloved husband Francis “Michael” Coffey.
She is survived by her son Kevin (Lori) Coffey, daughters Patricia (Edward) Dennis, Jacqueline (Rod) Campbell, and Judy-Lynne (Kevin) Coffey as well as her grandchildren Amanda, Kyle and Keith Coffey, Kaylah (Colton) Ashenden, Michael Campbell, Kayleigh-Anne LeGresley and the late Roderick Campbell. She also had two great grandchildren, Ivory and Phoenix Ashenden.
Carol grew up in Toronto and raised her kids in the Greater Toronto Area. She was a mom to everyone, even her kids’ friends always ended up calling her “mom.” We take great comfort in the thought that mom is reunited with her dearly departed family and her good friends.
As per Carol’s request, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
