In loving memory, the family announces the passing of Daniel Allan Walli who passed peacefully at the Maison McCulloch Hospice on Tuesday October 15th, 2024. Loving husband of Lisa Walli (nee Beauchamp). Beloved father of Pam Walli, Laura (Rob Hales), Darren Walli (predeceased), Sarah Walli (Jordan Lajeunesse). Cherished papa of Paige and Adriana Hales, Emmit and Archer Lajeunesse. Dear loving brother of Jack (Denise Walli) and Adam (Jody Walli). Proud son of the late Arvo Walli and the late Doris Walli (nee Sturgeon). Daniel will also be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Dan worked as an electrician for 30 years at Xstrata, retired and enjoyed many years doing what he loved best which was going on long walks, hiking in the bush with the dogs and spending endless hours with family. Dan had a love for music and enjoyed jamming with his brother and playing his guitars. Dan’s true passion in life was his family, spending weekends together, family dinners, celebrating his favorite holidays and traveling with his wife. He was a very strong, proud and courageous man who will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Dan will live on forever in our hearts.
The family would like to thank all the staff and volunteers at the Maison McCulloch Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion and to the staff and nurses at the Northeast Cancer Center. A special thank you to Dr. Pitre and Dr. Pun.
As per Dan’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at the Club 50 in Chelmsford, ON on November 24th, 2024 from 1-4pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Maison McCulloch Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
