Jean-Paul Levert passed away peacefully, at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 30, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Levert (née Larocque). Loving father of the late Mario Levert (Tracy), Sylvain Levert (Janet), Martin Levert (Marjolaine) and Sophie Levert (late Ryan Currier). Proud grandfather to Jonathan (Sative), Melissa (Jean-François), Zachary, Jeremy, Vincent, Audrey, Jackson & Addison; great-grandfather to Olivia & Luka. Dear brother of the late Gérald, Gilles (Marie-Lynn), Pierrette Larocque (late Bernard), Claudette Emond (Marciel) and Jeanne Lapierre (Bud). Predeceased by his parents Conrad and Lucille Levert. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 9 -11 am. A Liturgy of the Word will be said in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11 am. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Jean-Paul a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
