Shenstone, Richard William
November 7, 1952 – March 1, 2023
Richard William Shenstone of Meaford passed away Wednesday, March 1st, 2023 at Grey Bruce Health Services in Meaford in his 71st year.
Born in Toronto, he was a son of Peter and Mary (Legate) Shenstone.
Richard will be remembered fondly by his brothers John, David and Anne Shenstone and his nieces, nephews and their families.
Rick was a private person with a kind heart and a truly gentle soul. He loved dogs and his nieces and nephews. He loved giving to and getting gifts from his family, and with his wicked and sometimes quirky sense of humour his accompanying cards were killer. Uncle Rick was also the king of Tic Tac’s, which he loved to share with all.
Rick loved camping on Manitoulin as well as the town of Wiarton, both of these areas paired well with his love of photography, thoroughly enjoying sharing his work, as well as sausages and fresh fish picked up locally, with his family.
He loved gardening, his BBQ, and cars. The later being a strong passion of his. He was an ultra- organized fellow who loved routine, his time pieces, and those who were familiar to him in the community. He will be sorely missed.
