Howard, Mary Margaret
Suddenly at LHSC University Hospital it is with great sadness we announce the death of Mary Margaret Howard in her 81st year on February 28, 2023. Loving sister of late Kenny (Elizabeth), John (Celine), Michael (Barbara), late Pete (Mary Lou), Lawrie (Christine) and Ed (Linda). Auntie M&M was the adored aunt of 22 nieces, nephews and their families. Mary Margaret will be fondly remembered and missed by her close and strong circle of friends. Mary Margaret will be remembered for her great love of earth, storytelling (alter ego Gaimma) wisdom, sense of humour, kindness, and her comapacity to be inclusive to all. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thurdsay, March 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock, where the funeral service will be held on Friday morning, March 3 at 11 o’clock. Nous offrons nos plus sincères condoléances à la famille et aux amis de Mary Margaret Howard 2023 et espérons que leur mémoire pourra être une source de réconfort pendant cette période difficile. Vos pensées et vos mots aimables sont grandement appréciés.
To all Mary Margaret’s family and friends, my deepest sympathy. The suddenness of her loss makes it all the more difficult at this time. You are in my thoughts, tender care and prayer. I knew MM since ’88 when we studied together at Regis and St. Michael’s for a year. We shared a warm connection then, and a common love for all things related to our amazing cosmic and earth story. She was a wonderful storyteller as Gaiama – so creative, funny, so clever, and spot on! Rest in cosmic peace and love dear Mary Margaret ‘Gaiama.’
