Burwell, Mary “Lynn” Alberta (September 9, 1957 – September 16, 2024)
It is with great sadness that we, the family of Lynn Alberta Burwell, wish to announce her peaceful passing on September 16th, 2024, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, at the age of 67. Lynn was a longtime resident of Tillsonburg. For many years, Lynn was a dedicated employee at DDM Plastics Inc. and previously at Johnson Controls, Tillsonburg. Lovingly remembered by her sons Leigh J. Maertens, of RR2 Zurich and Brock Melvin (wife Olivia), of Seattle, Washington, USA. Also survived by her grandchildren Chandler, Mina, and Lillith Melvin, as well as by her siblings David Burwell, of Tillsonburg, Mark Burwell, of RR2 Zurich and by her sister-in-law Nelly Burwell, of Eden. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Dorothy “Bernice” Ford and Herc Burwell, and by her brother Donald Burwell (2008).
In keeping with Lynn’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. Later inurnment in Bethel Cemetery.
