Richard Beck passed away peacefully on August 29th 2024 at Peace Arch Hospital Surrey, B.C. at the age of 97. He is predeceased by his wife Rita and son Peter. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Trudy and his three sons, Rick (Wendy), Wayne (Barb) and Bob (Janine). Ten Grandchildren; Marilyn, Michelle, Teresa-Lyne, Lindsey, Kody, Christa, Angela, Loresa, Lauryn, Katelyn and sixteen Great-Grandchildren.
Richard came to Canada from Holland with his wife Rita. He came with a dream of starting a new life. Richard’s Canadian citizenship was one of his proudest accomplishments along with his family and long career in farming.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Church 2250 150th Street in Surrey, B.C. on Thursday, September 12th at 11:00am, with refreshments to follow.
Interment at Garden of Gethsemani located at 15694 32nd Ave in Surrey, B.C. at 2:00pm.
