Tabatha Diepman
1969-2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Tabatha Diepman,
of Moncton, NB, announces her passing on August
31st, 2024 at the Moncton City
Hospital.
Early Saturday morning Tabatha Lynn Diepman left us for
Heaven. After a courageous and hard fought 10-month battle with B-Cell
lymphoma, Tabatha left us peacefully while surrounded by her closest
family.
Tabatha was a beautiful person who deeply treasured her
family, her spouse Roger, and her friends. They meant everything to
her. Each of her children though, were her pride and
joy. Every single day she talked about them. So
very proud of who they are and all they have become.
Tabatha worked at the Moncton City Hospital for the past 13
years, most recently as a Ward Aid in the ER. She loved her
work and her co-workers. She talked frequently about the
community she was a part of at work, and how important it was in her
life. It was easy to see how much she was loved in return from the
ongoing support and kindness they always showed.
Tab really enjoyed playing card games and Yahtzee.
She loved following the Royal Family, she loved talking to and
spending time with her friends and family, and she absolutely loved to
laugh. She always enjoyed hearing a great story. One of her
favorite pastimes though, was to go on adventures with her spouse,
Roger. They travelled all around the Maritimes taking many road trips
through the last 16 years. Whether it was going to Shediac
to watch the boats or just going to Tim’s for a coffee, Tab and Roger
made the best of each adventure, big or small.
Tabatha is survived and will be deeply missed by her
children; Jason Diepman (Tracy) of Saint John, Rebecca Diepman (Gary)
of Toronto, and Robin Diepman of Moncton; her grandchild, Gwenevere;
her mother, Alice Jones; her spouse, Roger Cormier; her sister, Cassey
Steeves (Shane); her brother, David Jones (Tracy) and her many aunts,
uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Tabatha was predeceased by her father, Gary Jones and her
sister, Tracey McLaughlin.
The family would like to make a special mention to
Tabatha’s Uncle Morgan Melvin who was a close and dear
friend to Tab for so many years. Also, a special mention to
Tabatha’s Uncle Gerald and Aunt Frances who gave so much
love and support to Tab and family, giving Tabatha support, courage
and hope even in her darkest days.
We want to say thank you to a very special group of friends
that Tab loved so much; Lori, Tina, Dave, Kim and Bonnie.
Your kindness and love has been a true gift to all of us.
Tab loved every one of you with her whole heart. For all the
times you made her laugh, for all the help with drives to
appointments, for jumping in and helping out with every need she had,
and for all the support and love, we are all deeply
grateful.
We would also like to thank Dr. Eric Manuel for taking such
good care of Tabatha for the last 10 months. For giving her
encouragement and hope and for being so heartfelt with her through
every step of this journey. To the staff of the oncology
dept. on 4200, you are all angels. Your dedication and love
for what you do is incredible.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury
Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106, (506)372-4800, where a gathering
celebrating Tabatha’s life will be held on Wednesday,
September 4th, 2024 from 6:00pm –
8:00pm.
If desired, donations made to the Petitcodiac Fire Department
or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by
the family.
