LaPointe, Paul “Edgar” (August 21, 1959 – August 26, 2024)
Passed away suddenly, but peacefully on Monday, August 26th, 2024, at his late residents Brownsville Road, Tillsonburg with his loving wife Mary by his side, Paul ‘’Edgar’’ LaPointe formerly of Belledune, New Brunswick at the age of 65 years. Member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Tillsonburg and St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus #3212. Dedicated employee of North Star Windows, St. Thomas. Born in Murdochville, Quebec. Son of Cecile (Gauthier) LaPointe of Bathurst, New Brunswick and the late Lorenzo LaPointe. Beloved husband of forty-five years of Mary (Gavin) LaPointe and much-loved father of three sons: Naythan and ‘’Poppy’’ to his children: Khrystel, Ivy and Brandon; Deryk and ‘’Poppy’’ to his daughter: Charity; and Denys and ‘’Poppy’’ to his children: Joey and Kaitlyn. Survived by a brother Ricky LaPointe and a sister Susie (Mark Kanzig).
Friends, relatives and neighbours are invited to attend public visitation on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, between 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. Knights of Columbus Prayers Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 29th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 51 Venison St. W., Tillsonburg, by Rev. Fr. Seejo John. Cremation to follow the Funeral Mass. Inurnment later in New Brunswick.
