Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, Garfield Holloway of Lethbridge, age 73 years. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Emily Holloway; Sisters Joan Holloway, Maisie Ennis and Linda Chatman; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law James and Mary Maloney; Brother-in-law Clayton Abbott. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Bertha, of 48 years; Children Dwayne (Tina), Michael (Crystal) and Tina (Dennis); Grandchildren Ashton, Lucas, Brooke, Parker, Mya and Mackenzie; His brothers Eugene (Wanda), Austin (Rosalind), Kerry (Darlene); Sisters Shirley, Geraldine (Watson) and Kay (Eugene); In-laws Anne, Mary (Lew), John (Karen), Jim, Pierce (Brenda), Sheila (Alvin), David (Sherry) and Maureen (Bill); Nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends.
A special thank-you to Dr. Gordon Stockwell, G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital and the Cancer Clinic for their professionalism, kindness and compassion demonstrated during this difficult time.
Visitation:
Salvation Army Islandview Citadel in Musgravetown on Friday, August 16 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm
Funeral Service:
Saturday, August 17 at 2pm
Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to the Holloway Family or to the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lethbridge.
