Peacefully on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Anna Margaret Hay (née MacSweyn) of Lochiel; age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Alexander Ross Hay. Loving mother of Peggy Lafave (Gord), Barb McCormick (Emmett) and J.T. Hay (Lisa). Predeceased by her parents John Kenneth MacSweyn and Christena Hughes McCaskill; children: Violet Hay and Larry Hay also by brothers: Donald Hugh and Peter Gordon (late Tena). Anna Margaret is survived by one sister Anne Jean McRae (late Melvin), grandchildren Sean (Carrie) & Darcy (Sheila) McCormick, and A.J. & Lauren Hay, and by great-grandchildren Rowen, Kylie, Calla, Finnan and Laine. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 6-8 pm. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held at the Kirk Hill United Church on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11 am. Spring interment of cremated remains in the Kirk Hill United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Sports Hall of Fame or Kirk Hill United Church would be appreciated by the family.
