Hotham, Constance (O’Mara) (March 2, 1945 – August 13, 2024)
It is with great sadness, that we the family of Constance (O’Mara) Hotham wish to announce her sudden yet peaceful passing, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, following a brief illness, on August 13th, 2024, at the age of 79. Constance was born in Burnley, Lancashire England and moved to Canada when she was 16 years old. She was a resident of Mississauga, New Hamburg, and recently Baldwin Homes in Tillsonburg, Ontario. Constance’s family, friends and neighbours will remember her for her many long daily walks and as a people person. She also enjoyed gardening, knitting and spending time with family. Constance was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Tillsonburg. Lovingly remembered and always loved by her husband of almost 60 years, Reginald ‘Reg’ James Hotham. Always a caring mother and mother-in-law to: Kenneth (Vanessa), of Carmenville, NL; Donna Hotham (Mark Hilts), of Wasaga Beach; Glenn (Claudia), of Morriston; Keith (Kathryn), of Ayr; Elizabeth (Mike O’Keefe), of Burlington. Proud grandmother of Stephanie, Rebecca, Isabella, Jonathan; Krystal, Korey; Bryce, Sophia; Nash, Oliver, Grayson; Kayla, Chantel, Philip. Also survived by a special great-grandson Kody. Constance is predeceased by her Mother Florence and Father John O’Mara as well as all of her siblings Doreen, Florence, Nellie, Mary, Eileen, and Jim.
Friends, relatives and neighbours are invited to attend public visitation on Friday, August 16th, 2024, between 2:00 – 4:00 pm. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes – Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. Funeral Liturgy of Roman Catholic Faith will be held on Saturday, August 17th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, by Rev. Fr. Seejo John, of St. Mary’s R.C. Church.
