On February 17, 2023, at the Golden Plough Lodge, Bruce passed peacefully at the age of 75 with family at his side taking his final journey home. Cherished husband to his wife, Susan Goody (nee Vincent) for 44 years. Together, Bruce and Susan raised their children Stephanie and Sean (Laura). Bruce was the proud Papa to Samantha and grandpa to Connor and Quinn. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Rick (Diane), John (Mary), Ed (Debbie), and Alex (Christine). Pre-deceased by his parents Thomas and Irene Goody. Son in law to Patricia and the late, Donald Vincent. Brother-in-law to Stephen and Wendy (Tom). Bruce will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Bruce was a proud and hard-working letter carrier. In his travels he enjoyed meeting many different people. After 35 dedicated years he retired to spend his time with his greatest joy in life, which was his family. Bruce loved children and spent many years as a cubmaster to his cub pack. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all the staff at Northumberland Hills Hospital as well as the Golden Plough Lodge. Thank you for making Bruce’s final days as comfortable as possible. A celebration of life will take place Saturday, August 26th from 12pm – 3pm in the MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Centre, 30 King Street East, Cobourg.
