Brooks, Carol Arlene – Passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 4th, 2024 at the age of 82. Daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Dobbin. Beloved wife of Wayne Brooks. Cherished mother of Ken Brooks (Jennifer), Wendy Riley (Kael). Carol is survived by her sisters; Sharon (Tom), Dianne (Larry) and brother David (Jan). Devoted grandma to Jordan (Kelli), Paige, Connor, Dryden, and great-grandma to Sienna and Tanner. Her role as a grandma and great-grandma brought her immense joy. A passionate teacher, Carol inspired countless generations of students, leaving a lasting impact. Her contributions extended beyond the classroom, as she actively participated in swimming, dragon boating, fitness and volunteering including, Trenton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Retired Women Teachers of Ontario, Sewing Social and Glen Miller Quilting Club. In keeping with her family’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at White’s Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation or Parkinson’s Canada may be made in Carol’s memory.
