Obituary
DEVELLIS, Edda (nee Colautto) – Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday August 3, 2024 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of 48 years to the late Augusto ‘Gus’ (2016). Cherished mother of Paul (Alexandra Maves) DeVellis, Daniel (Isabelle Morin) DeVellis and Adrian (Melissa Mignot) DeVellis. Nonna to Hannah, Wyatt, Ella, Mason, Maddox and Aspen-Rose. Edda is lovingly survived by her sister Pierina Casasola, sisters-in-law Antonietta DeVellis, Michelina DeVellis, brother-in-law Mario (Laila) DeVellis as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Eugenio and Rosa (nee Fantin) Colautto, siblings Lilia (Giacomo) Mauro, Ernesto Colautto, Giuseppe (Licia) Colautto and brothers-in-law Antonio Casasola, Achille DeVellis, Michele DeVellis and nephew Mark DeVellis. All are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Friday August 9, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday August 10, 2024 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. Cremation will follow. The Rite of Committal will take place at a later date at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Edda, memorial contributions may be made to Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation and would be sincerely appreciated.
