It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Jules Raymond Michaud, on Monday, July 29, 2024 at the age of 78. He was the Beloved husband of the late Monique (2022). Loving father of Marc (Sandra), Gisele (Martin), Camille (Beate) and Real (Julie). Loved grandpa of Daniella, Eric, Noella, Dylan, Noah, Isabelle, Natalie, Amelia and Jonah. Dear brother of Jeannine ( † Raymond )Gosling; Helen (†Andre) Fauchon; Elise Appleford and Donald (Margo Fauchon) Michaud and †Paul ( †Phyllis) Michaud. Brother-in-law of †Claude (Jean) Bourgeois, Suzanne (†Louis) Leclaire and Paul (Marilyn) Bourgeois, †Jacque Bourgeois. Jules was predeceased by his parents Germain and Lucille Michaud and parents-in-law Lucien and Elise Bourgeois. He truly had the kindest spirit, » A Gentle Giant». Whoever met him only had the best things to say and so many people just called him “Grandpa”. Many remember his handshake with those massive hands. He spent his life loving and taking care of his family, the ultimate family man. He always took so much interest and gave encouragement in each one of his children and grandchildren’s lives. He was a gifted woodworker who was very proud to help build our family business. He also loved talking care of his yard either on his tractor, golf cart, feeding birds and moving those sprinklers endlessly. He loved and accepted anyone and whoever met him felt his gentle spirit. A private funeral and gathering of family and friends will take place. If desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
