It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rose Marie at the age of 77.
Reunited with her parents Harry Sr. and Lillian Spencer, and siblings Harry Jr. “Bunker” (survived by Cindy), James, and Patsy. Lovingly remembered by her children Donita (Michael) Farmer, Richard (Joanne) Hazel, and Steven. Beloved Nan and Nannie to Nathaniel (Brooke), Spencer (Hannah), Austin, Connor, Kailey, Nicholas, Joshua, and Stephanie. Great Nan to Troy, Grant, and Cohen. Survived by her siblings Christine (Robert) Parker, Pamela (Terry) Dill, Debbie Vallianatos, Edward (Nancy) Spencer, Steven Spencer, and Richard (late Elizabeth) Spencer. She will be forever remembered by many friends and neighbors, including her best friend Kathy, who was also a beloved co-worker for many years and friend Greg. Cherished by her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rose Marie was born in Kentville, Nova Scotia to a large family of 10. She has always been proud of her Nova Scotian Heritage, and regularly kept in touch with her family living there. When Rose Marie moved to Windsor, Ontario she worked in fine dining at Holiday Inn/Ramada for many years where she served numerous customers that became friends.
Rose Marie was an avid sports fan and always had the sports channel on in the background. She did have her favorites of course, The Toronto Raptors and The Toronto Blue Jays to name a few. She was happiest sitting at home with her Tim’s Coffee and watching her teams play.
If you so desire, donations may be made to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps or MLSE Foundation to help bring sports to all children across Ontario.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2nd, 2024 from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm at Families First South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave. Windsor Ontario, 519 969 5841). On Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 a graveside service will be held at Heavenly Rest Cemetery at 11am.
