Obituary of James Dolan
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dad, James Patrick Dolan. Dad passed away peacefully on July 26th 2024 at the age of 73. Jim was born in Halifax NS, on July 11th 1951. Jim, also known as Dinky, was loved by many, including his daughter Angela, son Robert (Sam), sister Arlene, Brother Len (Karen), sister Kathy (John), his grandchildren Cameron, Hali, Callum, Carter and Harper. He will also be missed by his step daughter Kathy’s three children, his great granddaughter, Olivia, as well as his nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents James and Marjorie. Jim was an amazing grandfather, who always wanted to help with the kids in any way possible. Jim would have given you the shirt off his back, but not without saying, $20 bucks no problem. Jim enjoyed family and friends, sitting around a campfire telling stories, with a Budwiser in one hand, and possibly an ice cream cone with bologna and jam in the other. (If you know you know).
Cremation has already taken place. A service will be held at J. Albert Walker Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 10AM.
In the words of his grandson Carter,
«Say goodnight Dick, night Dick, and enjoy having all your memories back. See you when we get there’.
