Giuseppe Spadafina, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on July 24, 2024, at the age of 89.
Giuseppe was a devoted husband to Maria, his cherished wife. Together, they shared a lifetime of love and companionship. He was a proud father to Franco (Lucy) and Gaetano (Teresa), whom he raised with care and wisdom. Giuseppe found immense joy in being a Nonno to Joseph, Laura, Amadeo, and Matteo, doting on them and watching them grow with pride.
He will forever be remembered by his surviving brother Pasquale and sister Teresa. Giuseppe is now reunited in Heaven with his siblings who passed before him: Giacomo, Rosa, Nicola, Caterina, and Paolo, as well as his parents Francesco and Maria, whom he loved dearly.
Giuseppe’s life was marked by his kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. He touched the lives of many with his warmth and gentle spirit. He enjoyed spending time with his family, sharing stories of his youth, and imparting his wisdom to younger generations.
If so desired, the family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Giuseppe Spadafina leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Rest in peace, dear Giuseppe. Your spirit will forever guide and inspire us.
Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario, Tel- 905-850-9500) on Sunday July 28th, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will take place on Monday July 29th, 2024 at 9:15am at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish (4070 Central Parkway. E., Mississauga, Ontario). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke, Ontario).
