Kim Mari (Chambers) McGraw went home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2024. Kim was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 18, 1954. Her father Warren Chambers Sr. passed away in 1963, and her mother Mildred (List) Chambers passed away 1967, in Detroit, after which Kim, along with her brothers and sister moved to Chatham to live with their grandmother, Grace List-Turner. Kim is survived by her loving daughter, LaToya McGraw (Jeff Bond). She also has 3 loving grandchildren, Ashton , Emma, and Ethan Bond. Kim will be dearly missed by her brothers, Warren (Wendy) Chambers, Andre (Linda) Chambers, and Kevin (Teddy) Chambers. She is now with her sister Diane Rowe, Karren Ransom and brother Terry Chambers. Kim also leaves a large number of aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews, cousins, and friends, who will miss their fun times together.
During the last few years of struggling with her health, she loved to share with others her faith and trust in the Lord, that everything was going to be alright. She was very thankful for the prayers and support from Thames Christian Fellowship. Her family are very thankful for the care by nurses, caregivers, and others over the past years , and especially these last few weeks.
In keeping Kim’s wishes , cremation has taken place. Family will gather at her graveside at a future date.
