It is with heart-felt sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Lloyde Bursey of Hare Bay, NL.
Donald was pre-deceased by his father Gideon Bursey and mother Lydia Bursey, his brothers Burt, Arch, Egdar, Milton, and sisters Elizabeth, Beatrice and Pearl.
Left to mourn with fond memories are his loving wife and best friend of 53 years Margaret Bursey (Winters), daughters Tina (Troy), Jackie (Desmond), and Laurie, seven grand-children (Melissa, Tyler, Myranda, Megan, Jordan, Cody, & Kayla), great grandchild Gideon, brothers Peter (Sarah), Eli (Dapne), Cyril (Shirley), Wayne (Sheila), and a very large circle of nephews and nieces, as well as family and friends.
For those of us fortunate enough to be in his presence quickly knew his love for family and friends were a focal point in his life and meant everything to him.
As a husband, dad, and grandfather, we are eternally grateful for the fundamental of life you instilled and are thankful for the precious moments we had together.
You will always be a constant reminder of the beauty of family and the importance of friends. You will forever be in our hearts.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Oram’s Funeral Home in Dover.
Funeral service to be held at the Salvation Army Corp, Hare Bay, NL on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 2:00 pm, officated by United Church Hare Bay with interment to follow at United Church Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to the care of Oram’s Funeral Home Dover.
