Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Caroline Lillian Bishop nee Parsons, at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, surrounded by her family, on Friday, February 17th, 2023, at the age of 84 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Bella Young (Phillip), Loretta Ball (Barry), Keith Bishop (Joan), Grace Gilliam (David), Shawn Bishop (Marg), George Bishop, Georgina Barnes (Lorne), and Bernice Sheppard (Bert), her 19 grandchildren; Lori, Lynn, Blaine, Christa, Dwayne, Vanessa, Dana, Devin, Kayala, Kenda, Heather, Brittany, Alicia, Danny, Renee, Andrew, Dawn, Samantha, and Jacob, her 20 great grandchildren, her siblings; Clifton Parsons, Pearl Crocker, Sadie Langdon, Dorothy Parsons, and Grace Nichols (Melvin), her sister-in-law; Sadie McIsaac (Kevin), and Rowena Bishop. Caroline was predeceased by her husband; Guy Cyril Bishop, her son; Lindy, her grandson; Jeremy, her granddaughter; Elizabeth, her parents; Sarah and George Parsons, her sister; Jessie Butt. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
Family will be receiving family and friends on Sunday February 19th, 2023, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, at the Birchy Head, Pentecostal Church, in Birchy Head, NL.
The Funeral Services will be held in Birchy Head, Pentecostal Church at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 20th, 2023, in Birchy Head, NL, with Pastor: Tia Morey officiating with the burial to follow at the Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Birchy Head, NL.
A special thanks to mom’s home care workers; Dorothy Caines, Verna Bushel, Darlene Young, Linda Howe, and Angela Goosney, and special thank-you to Pastor Tia Morey.
