Loy Fook Luke
It is with great sadness that the family of Loy Fook Luke announce his passing on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the age of 73 years.
Loy will be remembered by his wife of 48 years, Joyce-Fung Ngor; sons, Edward (Julianna) and Christopher (Charlotte); daughters, Lisa (Kristopher) and Irene (Mark); grandchildren, Aiden, Ava, Connor, Emily, Joel, Maeve and Aaron; mother, Ting Gee; brothers, Owen (Susan) and Leon (Susan); sisters, Nancy (Peter) and Joanne (Dave); along with many more dear relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his father, Chong Thick.
Loy had an entrepreneurial start from working and managing the family grocery store business to operating his own boat dealership with his sons later in his life before he retired. He shared his love of cars, fishing, watching his favourite sports teams and spending time with his friends and family.
A Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue NW, Edmonton. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel. Loy will be laid to rest at Northern Lights Cemetery, 15203 Campbell Road NW, Edmonton.
