Leona Noel Mealey (nee Stapleton) 83 years.
Passed away Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024 at Pioneer Manor in Sudbury with her family by her side.
Beloved and devoted wife of John J. Mealey predeceased. Loving mother of Denise predeceased, Deanne Ledarney (Dennis) of Alberta, Dennis, and Jack of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Ryan, Jessie, David, Nicholas, Olivia, Shelaine, and Johnny and great-grandchildren Morgan, and Rowen.
Best friend and sisters by heart to Jenny MacDonald.
Born in Marystown, Newfoundland in 1940. Our Mom was a devout Catholic and very involved with St. Kevins Parish for over 50 years, she proudly served as a Eucharist Minister, a CWL member, and was always there to help others.
Our Mother would brighten any room with her beautiful smile & caring nature.
Thank you to all the staff at Pioneer Manor & Chartwell for all the wonderful care you all provided.
Mackenzie & Honour thank you so much for everything.
Our Mother will rest easy now with our father. We love you Mom.
Memorial mass in St. Kevin’s Parish on Saturday, July 6th, 2024, at 11:00 am. Friends may gather at the church after 10:30 am on Saturday. Donations to St. Kevin’s Parish would be appreciated.
