The family of Frances Brown (Coleman) sadly announced her passing on June 25th at the age of 98. She enjoyed an extraordinary life as a devoted mother to daughter Brenda Fulbrook (Jim) and sons Randy (Debby) and Graydon (Joan), as well as seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Norm of 58 years in 2005 and son Jimmy in 1951.
Fran’s life can be best described by the five ‘F’ words: Family, Friends, Food, Flowers and Fun. She had an abundance of each. She grew up in Armstrong, and she and Norm raised their family in Vernon. She was the last of her large group of Vernon friends.
A heartfelt thanks goes out to Barb and Linda for the love and support you have given her over the last few years – you are truly family. Thank you to the Canterbury Court and Osprey Court staff for ensuring her comfort over the past year. We will miss her infectious laughter and the joy that brightened our lives. A family celebration of life will be held in August.
