1936-2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Glenna June Parsons Henderson Wasson of Hartland, NB that occurred at
the Central Carleton Nursing Home on Monday, July 1, 2024. Glenna was
born June 30, 1936, in Carlisle and was the daughter of the late John
and Florence (Wiley) Parsons.
Glenna is survived by her daughter, Connie Chase; son, R.
Douglas Henderson; her three grandchildren, Shane, Jason (Shelley),
and Heather (Donnie Turner) Chase; three great grandchildren by Jason,
Haley and Cohen Chase and Lyric Craig; two sisters, Winnie Ellis and
Shirley (Gerald) MacKenzie; three sisters-in-law, June and Zelma
Parsons and Bernice Ball; one brother-in-law, Gerald MacKenzie;
stepchildren, Allan (Patricia) Paget, Stephen (Audrey) Wasson, Karen
(Dalton) Greer, Altenna (Danny) Chedore, Brenda St. Germain, and their
families; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Glenna was predeceased by her parents, her three brothers,
Lloyd, George and Garry Parsons, two sisters Betty Dill and Marilyn
Crouse, her first husband Robert Henderson, her second husband, Junior
Wasson, her son-in-law David Chase, a stepson and his wife Dalton and
Norma Wasson and a step-son-in-law Raymond St. Germain.
Visitation for Glenna will be held at the Britton Funeral
Home, 2 High Street, Hartland on Thursday, July 4, 2024, from noon to
1:30 p.m. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m.
Pastor Donnie MacDougall will be officiating. The interment will be in
the Windsor Cemetery.
Anyone who knew Glenna knew that she loved her flowers, but
Glenna and the families wishes are to donate (if so desired) to the
Windsor Cemetery Fund for all of her and her families perpetual care.
