It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Carly, Madison, and Hunter Walsh. They were welcomed together, into a peaceful place in Heaven by many loving family members, including Carly’s grandparents Donald and Rosalie Stannard, Tom and Marion Fraser, Aunt Pam Pickle (nee Stannard) and Uncles, Tom and Larry Fraser. Carly and Steve were blessed by the births of their two children, Madison and Hunter, of whom Carly loved to the moon and back. The beautiful souls of Carly, Madison and Hunter, leave behind adoring parents and grandparents, Paul and Linda Stannard and Mary Stannard, as well John and Denise Walsh and Maggie Baker. They will be remembered with love by brother and uncle, James, his spouse Ashley and their children William, Charlie, and Katie and by Bernice, her spouse Ron and their daughters Taylor and Danielle, as well as Julia and Andrew and their son Gage. Always supported by aunts and uncles, Glenn and Linda Stannard, Madelyn Stannard, Bob Pickle and family friends Barb Renaud and Judy Goss. They loved their fur babies, Bella and Molly, who are being lovingly cared for by Jessica and Stuart Dumouchelle. Hunter, Madison and Carly were so blessed to have a large extended family, including many cousins who they saw regularly, and a huge group of friends. Hunter’s special buddies included, Graham, Nick, Matteo, Massimo, Brody and Cora. Madison’s bestie group comprised of Kinley, Mila, Lexi, Paisley and Lilianna. Carly’s friends, that not only supported her but her children, included Lindsay and Elmer, Rachel, Paula and Doug, Jillian, Sandra, Robin, Sam, Megan, Treena, and Tara.
Carly graduated from Holy Names Highschool and St. Clair College. Carly was known for her strong work ethic, often working six days a week. Many years were spent at Caesars Windsor, being the Tupperware Guru, and most recently managing Paglione Winery.
Becoming a mother was the greatest joy of Carly’s life. Her two children Madison and Hunter were her everything. She was ever present in their lives, from volunteering with the parent council at St. Anthony School, shaping their love for the great outdoors, and being kind and caring to everyone they met. There was nothing she would not do for them. Seeing Madison and Hunter become their own people was a bright spot in her days; Madison, a budding entrepreneur beginning to work either in the nail salon or at the Portuguese club, or seeing her fly across the ice rink, were some of her favourite moments. Her handsome boy Hunter, was a busy little guy with a huge smile and an impressive dinky car collection, who loved playing outside, and testing out the new dirt bike his grandpa made special for him. Carly was delighted that he was always so happy.
As we honour and remember Madison Rose, Hunter Paul and Carly Maureen we hold onto the warmth they brought into their community. We remember them not for the heartbreak of their passing, but for the countless ways they enriched our lives with their beautiful souls. The memory of Carly, Madison and Hunter will live on in the hearts of their loving family, cherished friends, and all who were touched by them.
On Monday, July 1, 2024, family and friends are invited to attend visitation from 12:00pm – 4:00pm and 5:00 pm – 9:00pm and on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 for a service at 11:00 am at Families First Funeral Home, 3260 Dougall Avenue, South Windsor (519-969-5841).
