With her daughter by her side, Oksana passed away peacefully on June 19, 2024, at the age of 86, at the Ivan Franko Home in Toronto. She leaves behind daughter Luba (Bohdan), sister Christine, nieces Natalya and Marusia, and extended family throughout Canada, the United States and Ukraine.
Oksana will be remembered for her sunny disposition and winning smile, as well as her unwavering faith, devotion to family, and her love of classical music.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 6 pm to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 135 La Rose Avenue, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 10am. Interment will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.
Oksana’s resilience, optimism and positive attitude will forever serve as an inspiration to all who knew her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
