(May 29, 1951 – June 16, 2024)
Peacefully, with family close by after a courageous battle with illness at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, June 16, 2024, Brian Leslie Swance passed away at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 51 years to Nadine. Proud and loving father of Jason Swance of Otterville, Trevor Swance (Nicole) of Dorchester and Kim Stager (Steve) of Courtland. Cherished grandpa of Bria, Waylon, Abilene, Lila, Daphne, the Late Ainsley and the Late Violet. Dear brother of Brad Swance (Connie) of Tillsonburg, Lynn Swance-Priester (Wayne Van Opstal) of Norwich and brother-in-law of David Hewitt (Karen) of Calgary. Brian is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Murray and Doris (White) Swance. Brian was a Dairy Farmer in the Tillsonburg area for many years. In his spare time, he thoroughly enjoyed pigeon racing and won many races over the years and developed many lifelong friendships. In keeping with Brian’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.
