Nancy Ruth Bell (nee Edgerton) passed away peacefully Thursday, February 9, 2023 at her home, on her own terms, surrounded by love. Born in Kingsville 73 years ago. Daughter of the late Thomas and Sophia Edgerton. Mother of her favourite son Chris Bell (Amie, her favourite daughter in law). Survived by her grandchildren, the light of her life, Kerrigan, Lucas (best hugger), and Kendal «Sissy». Also survived by special nieces Beth-Anne and Madisyn Burke. Nancy is the sister of Judy Edgerton (Pebbles the Pup), Alice Edgerton, Willy Edgerton, and the late Ross Edgerton. Also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family. Nancy worked for many years as a Personal Support Worker at Riverview Gardens. She loved a cold diet coke, a nice walk with a friend, yard saling and thrift shopping ANY time! Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Nancy knew her love language was gifting, and she was sure to always find you a special something that suited just right. She adored her cats, the late Fluffy and Allie, and her current cat Harley. Nancy’s pride and joy will always be her son and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all those who loved her. A private family graveside service at Greenhill cemetery will be scheduled at a later date. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Chatham-Kent Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
