Cheryl Anne Houston Obituary
Cheryl Anne Houston (nee Baylor), 72, of Stratford, Ontario passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024 with her family by her side. She was known as Cheri to all who knew and loved her.
She was predeceased by her loving parents Harold Raymond Baylor and Audrey Phillis Baylor (nee King) of Fordwich, Ontario.
Cheryl married to John Houston in 1981. He predeceased her in 2008. She is survived by her siblings, Morrie (Donna), Wendy (Gerry), Kim (Gary) and Kip (Catherine), as well as her children Lisa Orth (David), Carl (Tonya), Mike, Dan and several loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Cheryl loved to travel and was quite an accomplished long distance truck drive with her husband John. She also loved to garden and was quite an enthusiastic knitter. She knitted socks for anyone, as well as several sweaters, Christmas ornaments for friends and loved ones. Cheryl had a great affinity for animals; everything big and small.
There will be a visitation at W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm. Interment will be at a later time with family only.
