Peacefully at Dufferin Oaks, Shelburne on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Robert Quigley (1997). Dear mother of Jean Bathgate (Bill), Charlene Richard (Pat-deceased), Martin (Denise), Tony (Bernadine) and Patricia Quigley (Tina). Cherished granny of Andy, David, Patrick, Jenna, Zachary, Connor, Martin Jr, Justin, Caitlin, Ciara, Liam, Tyler, Corey, Dylan and Ashlyn. Dearest great-Granny to Lillian, Jaxson and Bella-Grace. Remembered by her sister Maeve McPeake (John-deceased) Predeceased by her brother Sam and Seamus and her sisters Mary and Anne. Joan will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church 42 Dawson Road Orangeville, on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations to Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Joan in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
