Obituary of Sasha Lynn Smith
SMITH, Sasha Lynn- Age 37 of Halifax, it is with extreme sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful daughter, mother, sister, and wife, Sasha Lynn Smith on May 9, 2024. Born in Halifax, she was the cherished daughter of Gregory Smith and Linda Smith (Christopher Holman).
Sasha was a beautiful soul, and devoted daughter, who would do anything for her family and friends—especially her beautiful daughter Gabriella. On hot Summer days, you could always find Gabriella and Sasha at the beach. Sasha enjoyed swimming in the ocean and four-wheeling. She was also an animal lover.
Sasha is survived by her beautiful daughter, Gabriella Smith; husband, Corey Flannigan; stepdaughter, Kenadie; brothers, Scott (Tabitha) Smith, and Bradley Smith (Chelsea Husbands); nieces, Rebeka, and Kaysea; nephew, Emmett; aunt, Debbie Smith (Cyril); uncles, Calvin Coolen, Richard Coolen, Roger Coolen, and Peter Coolen; maternal grandparents, James and Lillian Coolen; in-laws, Michael and Joan Flannigan; Gabriella’s Biological father; Kevin O’Keefe; Gabriella’s grandparents, Tracey O’Keefe and Pete Fisher. She was predeceased by her fraternal grandparents, Burton, and Shirley Smith.
In keeping with the family’s wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A celebration of Sasha’s life will be held at a later date.
