Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary, on Saturday May 11, 2024, at the age of 72. She met her dementia diagnosis and progression with bravery and grace. Mary left the loves of her life, her devoted husband of 51 years Sonny and her beloved caring son Mike. She was the cherished daughter of Mike and Concetta Calderone, and twin to Gus Calderone (Tricia Cain). Mary will always be lovingly remembered by her large extended family and many close friends. Mary was a dynamo, small in stature but large in life with immense spirit. Her kindness and generosity for everyone knew no bounds. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. Mary changed the lives of the people she met. We are all richer for having known her, and the world is a poorer place with her passing. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
