Obituary
Passed away suddenly at the Health Science Centre, on February 8, 2023, Hilary Joseph Halleran, of St.Vincent’s, St. Mary’s Bay, aged 70 years.
Predeceased by his parents Nicholas & Lavina Halleran; sisters: Rose Bailey (Richard) and her son Bob; Edna Halleran and her children Gerry, Rodney & Brenda; Ruth Halleran, Mona Pearce and three other infant sisters; brothers: Gearld Halleran, Robert Halleran, Bernard Halleran, Alphonsus (Anita) Halleran and daughter Rosilyn and special friends: Don Fleming, Ed Watson, Ray “Raymie” Hayward, Ken Bishop and Bob Stacy.
Leaving to Mourn daughter Levina (Adam) and grandson AJ , step-daughter Dawn Fleming (Jim); brother Nick, sister Marion Melindy; sisters-in-law: Carmelita, Theresa and Marie; brother-in-law Sabastian Halleran and a very large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, including special friends: Don Hayward, Jim Dolimount and Glen Anstey.
Resting at Fr. Battock Memorial Chapel, St. Vincent’s, on Saturday, February 11 and Sunday February 12, from 2 – 4pm; 7 – 9pm. Mass of Christen Burial will be held on Monday, February 13, at 11am, at Sacred Heart Church, St. Vincent’s. Burial to follow. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the family with proceeds being donated to “The War Amps “.
Dad always wished to have a celebration of music, friends and fun for his “final send off”, which will take place immediately following the burial at the Holyrood Pond Interpretation Centre.
