Obituary
Joseph passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Born on November 19, 2003 in Owen Sound, Ontario, Joseph Jordan Marinko, of Owen Sound was in his 20th year.
Survived by his mother, Elena Marinko and his siblings, Jacob Marinko and Shakira Apetagon. Predeceased by his grandparents Sarah Marinko and Francis Nadjiwon.
A Visitation for friends and family will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492 on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A Service to Celebrate Joseph’s Life will take place at 11:00 a.m. with Tony Cheghano officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Everyone is invited to a Time of Fellowship at M’Wikwedong Indigenous Friendship Centre starting at 1:00 p.m.
Flower donations to the family and Memorial donations to the Epilepsy Ontario Foundation would be appreciated.
