Patricia Paul died
peacefully in her sleep on April 24, 2024. She was born on February
12th, 1944, in Oromocto, NB. She was the last living child of Johnny
Mike and Minnie (Sabattis)
Paul.
She is survived by
her Rezzy sister, Lottie Mae Johnson. She was a residential school
survivor. She was taken to Shubie at 2.5 years old until she was 16
years old. She remained a frozen
child!
She was predeceased
by her eldest daughter, Monique Ann Chou and her son in-law Tim Mish.
She’s survived by her children, Genine of Sitansisk, and
Troy (Ally) of New York City, grandchildren; Allayah (Ally), Brandon,
Daven, Caden, Katarina (Robert) and Kierra (Tyler), great
grandchildren; Aidan, Carter, Daven Jr., Sebastian and Lincoln, and
many nieces, nephews. She was Meme to many, many youths, and a special
mom to Stella Jane. A shout out to her es; Dana Joy, Ray, Rosey,
Sarah and Laura. Thank you Shannex and Neill Hall for taking such good
care of Momma over the
years.
She will be resting
at the Maqiyahtimok Centre in St. Mary’s from Friday, April
26 beginning at 11-1pm for family. 2pm until Sunday afternoon at 2pm,
A reception will follow. A sacred fire will be lit at the centre
starting today, April 25th.
