Obituary of Bertha Violet Woolridge
It is with great sadness that the family of Bertha Violet (Dorey) Woolridge announce her passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Center on February 4,2023 at the age of 89 years.
Bertha is predeceased by her husband Hedley; her parents Henry and Emma; sisters Rita, Louise and Shirley, and her brother, Chesley; son-in-law Frank Grant.
Left with fond and loving memories are her children Karen (Des) Simon, Barbara (Brian) Rees, Eugene (Dawn) Woolridge, Corinne Woolridge & Mia (Paul) Benjamin; grandchildren Krista (Shadrin Brooks) Simon, David (Kelly) Simon, Kendra (Trent) Dean, Ian (Sarah) Rees, Sarah (Mike Hutchings) Woolridge, Rebecca (Mitchell Drydak) Woolridge, Joshua Budgell, Stephen (Jennifer) Grant, and Kasia Sharron; her great grandchildren Nicholas and Taylor Simon, Zachary Dean, Camden and Heidi Rees, Spencer and Emma Hutchings; Avianna Budgell and Drake Lively, Her sister Netta (Cliff Lily) Boyd.
We would like to thank the Staff of the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Center, Botwood for their kind and compassionate care of our mother.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Dr. Hugh Twomey Center or the Alzheimers Society.
There will be a private family visitation but the family kindly asks that if you plan on attending the funeral sevice, to please wear a mask. Thank You.
