Peacefully, in his ninety second year surrounded by his loving family on Sunday April 21, 2024. Beloved husband of Betty Rogofsky for sixty-five years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Ivy Schwartz and Bram Shegelski, Tracy and Gady Wechsler, Allan Schwartz and Gayle Freeman. Cherished “Zaidy” of Erin Shegelski, Blair Shegelski and Jonathan Niederhoffer; Sydney and Jaime Wechsler; Jordana and Kelsey Schwartz. Proud great grandfather of Asher Grey Niederhoffer. Dear brother-in-law of Zelig and Adele Gorsky, Sylvia Cohen. A kind sweet man, Daniel will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and by all those whose lives he touched. Heartfelt gratitude to “Auntie Linda” for her love and support. Special thanks to the staff of K-5 Jewish Eldercare for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W on Monday April 22 at 12 noon. Burial at the Hebrew Protective Association Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
