It is with heartfelt sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of Bruce Mendelsohn on the evening of March 26, 2024, with his longtime companion Miriam Biddiscom by his side.
Beloved youngest son of the late Sheila Mendelsohn(Shuter)& the late Milton Mendelsohn. Bruce was also the loving brother and brother-in-law of Jina and Michael Missle of Ashland MA, & the cherished uncle to Zachary and Jordyn Missle. Loving brother of the late Stuart Mendelsohn & The late Fred Mendelsohn.
He was very proud uncle and cherished his niece & nephew more than words can say. He had faced many challenges these past few years, but found strength to overcome so much. With his loving companion Miriam by his side he settled nicely in Ottawa and was enjoying his peaceful lifestyle.
Bruce also leaves behind loving Aunts, Uncles & cousins, as well as many long time special friends from Montreal. Bruce will be thoroughly missed. In the words of one of his fave artists…
~ Now the darkness only stays the night time, In the morning it will fade away, Daylight is good at arriving at the right time, It’s not always going to be this grey~
